The cool damp spring and summer is providing a better climate than we should have to plant and transplant trees. If however the weather does turn hot and dry please consider your trees and shrubs, especially any in containers, as they will need additional care.
We have been working hard making the world a more beautiful place. The most visually interesting project recently completed, was the transplanting of twelve number, eight metre high Chusan Palms specimens from the fabulous Cadogan Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show (http://www.rhs.org.uk/chelsea/2008/show/a-cadogan-garden.aspn) to two established London Squares !
The juxtaposition of the Palms into the mature gardens, framed by London Plane trees is unusual and in our view works. If you would like images of this, please send an email. Perhaps with global warming, this is how all the iconic squares in London will have to go !
There are a couple potential projects we are involved with at present, which will push the boundaries of what people think is possible with large trees. We will, of course, keep you informed.
